SDMC will look to favourably consider industry concerns

Recently South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) held a pre-bid meeting for the recently floated tender to allot advertisements rights for the market clusters of SDMC south and central zones. Various Delhi-based media owners that participated in the pre-bid had expressed their interest in the tender but at the same time, they also aired their concerns, particularly with respect to the reserve price.

The media owners urged the authority to bring down the reserve price.

The civic body has directed the participants to submit their concerns in writing with the authority. In an exclusive conversation with Media4Growth, Prem Shankar Jha, Deputy Commissioner said: “We are pretty sure that this tender will also get a satisfactory response from the market. We already have one such tender giving good results and we are expecting the same for this one.”

The tender provides for a bouquet of formats such as flag signs/MUPI/product display platform/welcome gate branding/LED displays in the markets. The tender also includes media on toilet blocks.

The technical bids will be opened on October 5, 2018.
