Active Media launches India's first interactive 3D movie poster

Taking movie promotions to a new level through OOH, Mumbai-based Active Media Innovations introduced interactive 3D poster for the film'Ghayal Once Again'. The poster was further promoted in national television at the popular entertainment show, Comedy Nights with Kapil.

While Bollywood movies are going places in terms of their promotions, Sunny Deol-starrer movie,'Ghayal Once Again' received maximum eyeballs at many PVR theatres across the country through interactive 3D posters. Mumbai-based Active Media Innovations has taken movie promotion to a new level by not only launching India's first 3D poster but also taken it to national television by promoting the poster at popular comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil on Colors channel.

Talking about innovation in OOH, Emraan Kureshi, Founder and MD, Active Media  Innovations, commented, "Although outdoor has limitless reach, we have always seen OOH being static in India. We have introduced the poster in certain PVR outlets around the country which is spelled to be synonymous with interaction with Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. We also think that OOH doesn't need to be static. With that thought, we have introduced the poster in a platform as wide-reaching as national television. The idea was to let people know about it and inviting them to come and experience it at any PVR outlet.” The poster was displayed at PVR outlets across 7-8 cities including major metros and some mini metros with the sign #hangoutwithsunny. "We have received interest from even smallest towns of Punjab to visit the nearest PVR outlet,” Kureshi concluded.
