KMC awards rights for new LED boards to Selvel Advertising, Enkon, P.K. Advertising

Selvel has won the rights for 11 LED boards while Enkon received 5 and P.K. Advertising got rights for 3 LED boards installation in the city of Kolkata

Kolkata Municipal Corporation has recently granted rights for installation of new LED boards under its jurisdiction in Kolkata. Selvel Advertising Pvt. Ltd. has won rights for 11 LED board installations, Enkon has got 5 LED installation rights and P.K. Advertising has got rights for 3 LED installations. The contract is for a period of 10 years.

Noel Stephen, CMO, Selvel Advertising Pvt. Ltd. shares with Media4Growth: “Among the 11 LEDs that Selvel has been awarded, 3 will be up on the Eastern Bypass and 8 will be spread across the main city areas. The uniqueness of these boards are that campaigns can be instantly splashed within seconds across the city and they can be displayed in the most creative manner, which we feel will be head-turners with maximum eyeballs. Kolkata has been a very receptive city where LEDs are concerned. Clients do consider this digital media while planning outdoor campaigns and being at all the city crossings it is more advantageous, having higher OTS. Also, the change of creative is very fast and simple and the advanced technology for LEDs brought in by us has a very high resolution reproduction of displays which is pleasing to look at. The maintenance is also planned in a structured manner and periodical visits by our technical team makes it convenient to attend any failures, on the hardware front, within 24-48 hours.”

Aninda Banerjee, MD, Enkon OOH shares, “These are all going to be modern LED displays, having large format and prominent placements at major locations of Kolkata. Instead of slot sale, there are complete commercial hours which can be bought by clients. We are already getting bookings for the same. We have dedicated engineering support team developed over a decade of experience in LED sales and thus, we are already giving service support to Government, PSUs and individual clients across the eastern region.”

Among the 3 LED installations awarded to P.K. Advertising the tentative locations are one at C.R. Avenue, one at Elgin Road and another at Park Circus crossing. They have also appointed a separate team for maintenance of the boards as confirmed by the Director of P.K. Advertising.
