Enkon reaches out to commuters by installing VMS Board in Kolkata
Installed at a busy junction, the board is helping commuters decide on destination routes and necessary information while travelling within the city.Â
Enkon, the Kolkata based OOH media owner, recently installed a large LED display screen being used as Variable Message System (VMS) board for Kolkata Traffic Police at one of the major intersection of the city namely Science city junction on Eastern Metropolitan By-pass.
The board displays traffic information which helps commuters to decide their route towards south and central Kolkata during the entire day. The messages inform the commuters on the time required to reach destinations from that point. Any major traffic incidents/ accidents/ road blocks are also flashed online and instantly for the common public.
What’s more, the agency is running commercial messages intermittently to cover the installation and maintenance costs.
