‘DTC bus is the oldest advertising format in Delhi NCR’
Dr R S Minhas, Deputy Chief General Manager, Delhi Transport Corporation presented how the oldest advertising format of the capital still continues to be pivotal to outdoor advertising in Delhi NCR

In his presentation on ‘How innovatively can OOH maximise opportunities in urban transit space’ Dr R S Minhas, Deputy Chief General Manager of Delhi Transport Corporation made a point that DTC is one of the oldest advertising formats available in the capital city. DTC buses and street furniture are still an effective advertising platform connecting with some 32.74 lakh commuters traveling on the buses every day and 226.64 lakh average traffic every day. In a city like Delhi where street furniture is one of the main formats, DTC plays a crucial role in providing various advertising destinations such as buses, bus shelters street furniture and bus depots.
To further exploit the DTC’s assets for advertising, Dr Minhas presented new age advertising opportunities available with their properties such as LCD, LED, Passenger Entertainment system and etc. Also, the official invited the media owners to initiate new beneficial proposals for both parties.
