The OOH Advertising Awards (OAA) 2024, organised by Media4Growth, has received an unprecedented 348 entries from 36 companies across 7 categories and 27 subcategories. This record-breaking participation underscores the dynamic evolution and growing significance of out-of-home (OOH) advertising in India. EY will serve as the tabulation partner for the awards, ensuring accuracy and transparency in the results.
The entries are being evaluated by a distinguished jury panel comprising 33 esteemed brand marketers from diverse industries. The judging process is scheduled in two rounds: an initial online round followed by an offline round. The second round involves three jury meetings, one in Delhi and two in Mumbai. with the jurors divided into three groups to facilitate thorough evaluation.
Commenting on this milestone, Vasant Jante, CEO of Media4Growth, stated, “Indian OOH is on the ascendancy with a greater number of brands, both national and regional, making notably creative use of this medium for their respective campaigns. This OOH renaissance is writ large in this year’s OOH Advertising Awards contest, wherein we have received a record number of entries. I believe the industry is turning a new leaf, and we will witness greater competition among the OOH stakeholders and a greater zest to scale new peaks of excellence. OAA will continue to mirror these extraordinary times.”
The OOH Advertising Awards ceremony will be held at Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Manyata Business Park in Bengaluru, on July 27 evening, just after two-day OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) 2024 concludes. The convention, renowned for its influential speakers from around the globe, will delve into the latest trends and innovations in OOH advertising.
With the highest number of entries in its history, the OOH Advertising Awards 2024 is a testament to the sector’s vibrant growth and the creativity of its stakeholders. As the industry continues to expand its horizons, the awards and the convention will serve as a barometer for the exceptional work being done in the OOH space
