LG has placed its latest range of air purifiers, LG PuriCare, at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airports
LG has placed its latest range of air purifiers, LG PuriCare, at strategic locations inside Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), Delhi, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai and Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. This is part of a brand promotional initiative in association with Times OOH executed at Delhi & Mumbai airport. The dwell time of audiences at the airports is estimated at 110 minutes for domestic departures and 165 minutes for international departures. This gives passengers ample time to look around and absorb the airport environment – a good premise for LG to place the air purifiers in this environment.
The two airports see movement of some 115 Million passengers, most of whom come from the educated strata with relatively high purchasing power. LG also decided to tie up with airport lounges that cater to the most affluent travellers. To drive brand association further, the company also sponsored the live AQI feed shown on the digital screen network within the airport premises. The feed was sourced by AQICN.
Speaking about the campaign, Kulbhushan Bhardwaj, Business Head, Air Conditioners, LG, said, “With the current campaign for LG Air Purifiers in full swing at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airport, we believe it will push the brand recall, given the scale of the activity. This has not only ensured that the passengers are benefitted from the AQI data displayed across Delhi and Mumbai Airport, but has also given us a chance to showcase the elegant design and smart functionality of the premium LG purifiers placed at locations that witness high footfall and visibility for passengers to experience.”
