OOH industry veteran Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Founder & CEO, ideacafe, a startup angel investor with more than two and half decades of rich experience and expertise, both in India and overseas, will be chairing a power-packed brand panel on the theme ‘Is DOOH ticking all the boxes for brands?’ at the OOH Advertising Convention 2024 in Bengaluru on July 26-27.

Nabendu Bhattacharyya has worked in leadership positions with leading agencies like O&M, Emirates Neon, and Mudra before setting up the multi award-winning integrated communication agency, Milestone Brandcom, in the latter half of 2009. During his tenure at Milestone Brandcom, the agency worked with some of the biggest National and Multinational brands becoming one of the largest OOH communication agencies in India.

Nabendu has always strived to challenge the ‘status quo’. At Milestone Brandcom, He built India’s first audience-based OOH planning tool – Milestone Optimizer in 2014; and within 4 years of its inception, the agency was acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network , one of the largest media & advertising conglomerates in the world. At the time this acquisition was the first ever such takeover of an OOH agency by a global conglomerate.

Post the successful completion of its acquisition and the earn out period , Nabendu embarked on his next venture ideacafe.agency – a futuristic through-the-line communication specialist agency that aims to introduce a fresh revolution into the world of brand communication via ‘idea-centric’ solutions. With a strong creativity bend of mind, he is focused on delivering strong DOOH customised content for brands ensuring maximum impact and ROI.
