LIC of India Managing Director Suseel Kumar to address OAC 2019 on July 26

T C Suseel Kumar, Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) -- the government-owned insurance and investment company with a customer base of over 29 crore while managing assets worth Rs 31.11 lakh crore -- will be addressing the 15th Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) on the theme of ‘What makes OOH a trusted consumer influencer’. Suseel Kumar will be speaking on the opening day of OAC 2019, which will be held at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Powai, Mumbai on July 26-27.

Prior to taking charge as Managing Director, Suseel Kumar was head of LIC’s South Central Zone, where he fortified LIC’s operations in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka.

A life insurance strategist and a marketing professional, Suseel Kumar, in his career spanning over three decades with LIC, has handled diverse portfolios including the ones as corporate head of Customer Relationship Management and Bancassurance. As Executive Director (Customer Relations Management), he introduced a number of new customer-centric initiatives, the notable one being e-services for customers. He was instrumental in expanding tie-ups with banking partners as the Head of LIC’s Bancassurance operations.

He is presently on the Boards of LIC Pension Fund, LIC HFL AMC Co. Ltd, LIC Mutual Fund Trustee Pvt. Ltd and LIC (Lanka) Ltd.

A post-graduate in economics with university rank, Suseel Kumar has a deep understanding of the macro-economic issues and their impact on business dynamics. He takes keen interest in development of people and believes human resource to be the key asset of his organisation.
