MiG’s OOH route to promote fighter planes
The fighter jet manufacturer’s OOH campaign, in association with adversize.in, was executed with special permission from the Karnataka High Court
Fighter jets manufacturer MiG leveraged the outdoor medium to showcase its latest fighter MiG-35, as part of the build-up to the recently concluded Aero India Show held in Bengaluru during February 20-24th, 2019.
The month-long campaign’s strategy was to target VIPs who were scheduled to attend the airshow that was held at Yelahanka in the city. Accordingly, sites were erected to grab the attention of visitors travelling from the Bengaluru International airport. The campaign showcased MiG’s fighter planes manufactured in the past several years.
The campaign was executed by adversize.in, an online platform that enables booking billboards/hoardings across India. The company made sure the complete campaign was executed as per regulations and printed on plastic free media. The banner material shortlisted for the hoardings were verified and printed by certified printers.
The campaign was also displayed on the city’s biggest hoarding of size 200×50 feet, which made it an unmissable presence. A fabric of 10,000 sq. ft was printed and stitched within 24 hours by the online outdoor booking firm and its partners.
Commenting on the campaign, Sharath Patil, Founder of adversize.in said, “It was a pleasure to work with the Russian fighter aircraft manufacturer and make this campaign a success. We strive to foster relationship with our international clients and make outdoor advertising easily accessible to all businesses.”
