Vodafone to roll out innovative OOH campaigns to promote cycling marathon

Jagran Engage is the outdoor partner for the second edition of Vodafone Cycling Marathon that will be held in Bengaluru on March 1, 2015

In the run-up to the second edition of Vodafone Cycling Marathon which will held in Bengaluru on March 1, 2015, Vodafone plans to roll out innovative OOH campaigns and conduct various onground activities in the city. Atanu Batabyal, Business Head - Karnataka, Vodafone India, said the outdoor campaigns executed last year before the inaugural Vodafone Cycling Marathon were innovative and helped generated widespread public interest in the event. He said the campaigns this time around will be even more innovative. Leading OOH firm Jagran Engage is the outdoor partner for the second edition.

Batabyal said at a press meet in the city that the event-related outdoor campaigns will be mainly executed on hoardings and bqs. About the event, he said: "With the success of our maiden edition, we are confident that the people in Bengaluru will come out in large number to participate in the second edition. There is a need for people in the city to take to cycling to cope up with heavy traffic and pollution.”

The event arena will also have a carnival area on the main day buzzing with varied actives where people can enjoy musical concerts, bicycle stunts, exhibitions, painting competitions, a cycle fashion show in addition to the award ceremony.
