Relief for Meena Advertisers in regard to payments for glowsign rights at Churchgate stn

Mumbai HC gave its order in favour of the OOH firm

Meena Advertisers, which has the rights for glowsign displays in the ticketing and non-ticketing areas of Mumbai’s Churchgate railway station, has got relief from the High Court of Mumbai for short payments. The OOH firm in its plea had cited that the Indian Railways after having granted the ad rights did not provide consistent power supply to the firm for the glowsigns at the station. In place of 3-phase power supply, the firm got only single phase power supply.

In the event of the OOH firm not paying the license fee regularly, the Railways had taken the amount of the deposit. The electricity bills raised to the OOH firm were also seen to be incorrect.
