Punjab & Haryana HC asks state governments to introduce ad bylaws before Mar 9

A division of the Punjab & Haryana High Court issued this order while conducting a hearing on the ongoing petition related to illegal media prevailing in various cities of Punjab and Haryana

Punjab & Haryana High Court has asked the state governments of Punjab and Haryana to come out with its final decision on the Haryana Municipal Corporation Advertisement bylaws 2016 before March 9, 2018 to bring about a uniform outdoor ad policy in the state. A division of the Court issued this order while conducting a hearing on the ongoing petition related to illegal media prevailing in various cities of Punjab and Haryana.

The next hearing has been scheduled on March 9 whereupon the court will expect a presentation on the bylaws by the state government.
