Leading OOH agency hit hard by ransomware

Cyber-attack denudes the agency of significant internal data

Ransomware caused mayhem in one of the leading OOH specialist agencies in the country, virtually wiping out all internal data. As per sources, work at the agency came to a halt last Wednesday and employees were in due course advised to access their email via handled devices and not use their laptops.

It emerges that the cyber-attack has not caused any dent on business as no preparations for business pitches were underway at that time. Apparently, the clients had been informed of the situation. The operations are limping back to normalcy.
