Enkon in pact with Spencer’s Retail for shopping cart branding
Some 8,000 shopping carts will have static and digital advertising displays
Kolkata-based outdoor advertising firm Enkon has signed up with Spencer’s Retail for advertising on shopping carts inside the retail major’s outlets in the eastern markets. Close to 8000 Spencer’s Retail shopping carts will have static and dynamic advertising displays promoting various products and services. The digital display screens will have push advertising promoted via applications such as geo-splash.
“This is an endeavour to be a futuristic company and be relevant in the coming era of relevant niche advertising. Analysing the current situation where regulations are turning stringent with the outdoor policies, it is a good business move to invest in new crowd sourcing avenues,” said Aninda Banerjee, MD, Enkon.
The company has plans to foray into this niche advertising segment in other cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR.
