SDMC to float digital screens tender soon
Bids will be invited for putting up digital screens on unipoles
South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) will be floating a tender inviting bids for the installation of digital screens. The corporation will permit the installation of digital screens on unipoles, but the screens shall feature only static images and without any audio output in order to comply with the traffic safety norms.
SDMC Deputy Commissioner Prem Shankar Jha told Media4Growth that the objective of bringing in more digital OOH media is to cut down the use of PVC-based flex as advertising media. “This is also a step forward towards digitalization of the outdoor media,” he said.
The tender is expected to be floated in the next few days.
