Abhinav Sharan , Assistant Vice President, Head of Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising – Bata India, has joined the eminent Jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2022 contest.

Abhinav is an experienced marketing professional with 15+ years of experience working with top MNCs such as Bata, Panasonic, Nokia, Microsoft, Pernod Richard and LG Electronics. He is an alumnus of IIM-Indore, and has also completed his post-graduate certification From MICA.

Abhinav joined Bata after a stint of nearly 5 years in Panasonic, where he was head of Through The Line marketing, branch marketing operations and dealer relationship management. He has hands-on experience in managing ATL, digital, BTL activities, retail marketing, visual merchandising, campaign development, GTM strategy, social media strategy, offline-online marketing, media management, etc.

Abhinav was awarded the Asian Leadership & Innovation Award – Golden Globe Tigers Awards endorsed by CMO Asia/CMO Global/Asia Retail Congress, World Federation of Marketing & World Marketing Congress, and the Marketing Professional of the Year 2021 Award by CMO Asia/CMO Global/Asia Retail Congress, and World Federation of Marketing & World Marketing Congress.

The OAA 2022 contest has drawn good response and participation from seven different award categories and 20+ sub-categories.

Winners of OAA 2022 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on August 18, 2022 evening, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
