Skyrams adds LED digital formats in Coimbatore and Chennai

Digital OOH has become a significantly bigger part in the Out of Home advertising industry worldwide. This is widely attributed to the various advantages this technology brings, both to the advertisers and to the medium itself.

Skyrams Outdoor pioneered the usage of DOOH technology by installing and putting to commercial usage, the very first LED Outdoor Display Modules in Coimbatore and Chennai, the only OOH firm to usher digital displays in Tamil Nadu.

The LED screens are of the latest P6 modules which are 4G enabled and can be remotely controlled for data upload. Hence, all the installed modules are integrated to a centrally controlled unit which increases flexibility and reduces TAT when compared to traditional OOH installations.

As a part of its Smart City project, the company is in the process of installing 30 LED Unipoles of size 11’5’’ Wt x 9’75’’ Ht of which 10 are installed and in use. Apart from commercial advertisements, the boards also display the Air Quality, Temperature and other such data for the public view. In Chennai, to begin with, 2 LED Bus Queue Shelters have been installed with about 25 in pipeline.
