Cutting-edge tech comes alive at Panasonic Tech show in Bengaluru

Held at the Ritz-Carlton in Bengaluru, The Panasonic Tech Summit brings together a range of solutions tailored for different business verticals, enabling immersive and efficient consumer experiences. Vijay Wadhawan, Director, System Solutions Division (SSD), Panasonic Life Solutions India, talks about it to Media4Growth.

The most effective front-end technologies are those that stay hidden, quietly elevating consumer experience. But when these quiet technologies meet stunning visual effects, the end-results are often transformative. The Panasonic Tech Summit being held during November 24–25 at the Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru, is an immersive showcase of what state-of-the-art display technologies can do to enhance consumer touchpoints across spaces.

From retail lift-and-learn technologies, Electronic Shelf Labels, and digital menus for QSR chains, to interactive signages in airports, dynamic communications at duty-free stores and high-end camera/ broadcast solutions, the show is a walk-through of a range of Panasonic’s end-to-end visual and technology solutions for smarter business environments. The experiential event features eight real-world zones, including Retail, Corporate, Hospitality, Transport Hubs, Manufacturing, Media/Broadcast, QSR, and Projection, demonstrating integrated hardware-software capabilities designed to enhance communication, efficiency, and customer engagement.

Speaking about it, Vijay Wadhawan, Director, System Solutions Division (SSD), Panasonic Life Solutions India, tells Media4Growth, “We closely understand customer requirements and go to the market with comprehensive solutions; not just products. These solutions are tailored to meet client requirements across different verticals. This show is a demonstration of these different solutions, to show the difference that technology solutions can make to a business by elevating the end customer experience.”

Further, sharing his observations on the common misconceptions that brands and retailers have about investing in technology, Vijay says, “There is a general apprehension about investing in technology; people feel they can do without it. But the way technology is evolving, it will be imperative for them to not ignore it. This is because customer experience is increasingly becoming important. Customers today want an improved experience every time they walk into a store, and only technology will enable it. So I would say customer experience will push the adoption of technology.”

Vijay in fact feels that the growth prospects across both retail and Digital OOH (DOOH) are very high, because of the way technology is getting integrated. He is however quick to add that the customer experiences across both these domains will see dramatic shifts, with technology evolving and becoming more intuitive. For Panasonic India, this is the space that promises exciting new opportunities for innovative solutions.
