OOH veteran Pratap Bose passes into the ages
Pratap last served as Founder & Chairman of The Social Street until May 2020
Indian OOH veteran Pratap Bose, who last served as the Founder & Chairman of The Social Street until May 2020, has passed away after a bout of illness. Pratap, who worked as Chief Operating Officer with DDB Mudra Group during 2008-14, was known for his documented knowledge of Indian OOH that was writ large when he spoke on platforms like the Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC). He had also helmed the Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) Jury some years ago.
Pratap’s tryst with OOH was shaped during his long tenure with Ogilvy & Mather, where he joined as a Director in 1993, and then went on to become the President in 2000 and CEO in 2006, until 2008.
Pratap started his career with Selvel group in Kolkata. Coming from an accounting background, Pratap excelled in the realms of advertising, brand management, integrated marketing, media planning, digital marketing, among others.
