Vodafone India launched the Vodafone Data Strong Ride, a motor cycle rally that demonstrates Vodafone’s data strong network across the route using Google maps to identify their location, staying in touch with their loved ones through calls, sms and Whatsapp, posting their updates and pics on FB and Instagram at stops along the way, tweeting their experiences.

10 bikers are riding across over 3,300 km from Mumbai in Maharashtra to Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, traversing 6 states over 12 days. The activation will be further enhanced with social media integration wherein riders will engaged with locals en route, sharing the uses of mobile internet and clicking pictures with them to be posted on their social media platforms.

The masses from across the country will get an opportunity to join this ride virtually via the Vodafone Data Strong contest, in which they can win super biking gear and accessories by posting pictures of themselves with their bikes, either on Twitter.
