In Bengaluru, there is seemingly a surge in demand for the formats that are untouched by the ban – namely, transit media that includes airport media, railway media, bus shelter media, and skywalk media

Even as the city of Bengaluru sees a dramatic change in its OOH landscape in the wake of the 1-year ban on large format advertising enforced by BBMP, there is seemingly a surge in demand for the formats that are untouched by the ban – namely, transit media that includes airport media, railway media, bus shelter media, and skywalk media.

In this context, hospitality major Holiday Inn has launched an impactful campaign at Bangalore City Railway Station, which is officially known as Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna railway station. In the past, this advertising brand was seen using other OOH formats to connect with the target audience, most among the mid- to high-income groups. The brand has now opted for the railway media, which is also a big leg-up for this format.
