Check out Air Asia destinations on Bengaluru street furniture

Signpost India has executed the promotional campaign for Air Asia in the Central Business Districts of Bengaluru

A recent OOH innovation by Air Asia on street furniture in Bengaluru seems to have grabbed a lot of attention. Signpost India has strategically positioned the airline brand, deploying 40 BQS at Central Business Districts (CBD) of the city. The idea of this campaign was to promote and popularise the fabulous destinations which Air Asia offers at reasonable rates. The brand kicked off its campaign in August and it will run throughout September to engage the audience, mainly middle and higher-income international travellers.

“Air travel has crossed the boundaries of classes in the society and is also an increasingly preferred mode of travel for the emerging millennial and middle class. Given this context, bus shelters for outdoor advertising are an attractive mode, both in terms of value and reach to this segment of our target audience, with our narrative,” said an Air Asia spokesperson.

Speaking about it, Dipankar Chatterjee, Managing Partner, Signpost India said, “Air Asia’s mission statement is ‘Now everyone can fly’ and the brand has partnered with Signpost India team for multi-city OOH campaigns to amplify the brand communication around destinations like Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag, and Nagpur. Pertaining to the rules framed by National Green Tribunal in Karnataka to use 100% eco-friendly materials on the bus shelters replacing flex, the brand has took this initiative to go green.

“The development of the first reusable and recyclable posters is a significant step in the environmental progress in recent outdoor advertising and we’re delighted to be a part of that innovation for Air Asia in Bengaluru,” shares Ayan Bhattacharya, Associate Business Director, Signpost India.
