Ludhiana MC re-floats tender for rights on 3,700 media units
The reserve price has been reduced to Rs. 27.15 crore per year from Rs. 30 crore per year
With some changes in the reserve price, Ludhiana MC has re-initiated the tender to allot rights on 3,700 format units in the city which failed to attract bids earlier due to no participation of the advertising industry. Confirmed by the Ludhiana MC Advertising Superintendent Officer, the reserve price has been reduced to Rs. 27.15 crore per year from Rs. 30 crore per year wherein rest of the details and conditions remain the same.
Last time, the industry showed no interest in the tender because of hefty tender price and the proposed elevated road project that was seen to eventually affect the visibility of the tendered media, as reported by Media4Growth.
Technical bids can be placed online by November 19. These bids will be opened on November 20. The final bids through e-auction can be placed from November 27-December 4.
