‘You Complete Me’ tells Bounce to youth this Valentine’s Day
The bike rental portal connects with metro riders by offering them a rose and a coupon in Bangalore
Bounce, an online bike rental website derived a new strategy to connect travellers in Bangalore. This Valentine’s Day the brand rolled out a unique activity where youth traveling by Bangalore metro were surprised with a rose along with a coupon code to get avail discount on hiring a scooter from their website. In association with the Ginger Media Group, the activity was executed at 7 metro stations including MG Road, Indira Nagar, Byappanahalli and etc. The brand offers a last-mile connectivity to the masses in an urban market like Bangalore dealing with traffic issues.
Addition to this, a separate activity was conducted at 12 stations where look walkers were deployed to create visibility of the brand. The aim was to create a recall share in the minds of youth to increase the bookings. Moreover, the solution came out as an economical and feasible option to execute at the time of the ban in the market. Wherein, metro stations were strategically selected as a touchpoint because approximately 42% of Bounce rides either originate or culminate at metro stations, which means roughly five per cent of all metro commuters use Bounce as their preferred mode of commute for first- and last-mile connectivity.
Bounce is a fastest growing unicorn. Within 10 months of launching dockless scooters in Bengaluru, the firm has completed over five million rides, covering 30 million km.
