Zepto and KFC spark witty OOH conversation around the everyday dinner dilemma
The campaign is executed by The Brand Sigma
Zepto and KFC have come together in a clever Out-of-Home (OOH) execution that transforms a routine consumer decision into a memorable roadside conversation. Installed on adjoining billboards along a high-traffic commuter route, the campaign uses contextual copywriting to engage audiences during the evening rush, when many are deciding whether to cook at home or order in.
The conversation begins with Zepto’s billboard, which speaks directly to consumers planning to prepare a meal, stating, “Cook if you want. We’ll handle the groceries in minutes,” reinforcing the quick-commerce platform’s promise of rapid grocery delivery.
Picking up from the same thought, the adjacent KFC billboard responds with, “Or don’t! Just grab a KFC Chicken Krisper Value Meal starting at just ₹99/-,” positioning its affordable meal as a convenient alternative for consumers looking to skip cooking altogether.
Rather than functioning as independent advertisements, the two creatives work together to create a sequential narrative, encouraging commuters to engage with both messages as they pass the site.
