Supreme Advertising was recently awarded the contract to set up 36 smart toilets as part of the Smart City project under the NDMC. The smart toilet complexes are unique in that they will have a bank ATM, water ATM, blood testing facility, ST vending machine, soft drinks vending machine, Wi-Fi and free toilet facilities
The first such smart toilet has been completed by Supreme Advertising at the Chelmsford Club on Rafi Marg. The complex was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in the presence of several dignitaries including the LG of Delhi Meenakshi Lekhi. This project was being seen as a big boost to the Government’s ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission.
Most of the Smart Toilets are located at prominent places such as India Gate Circle, Janpath, Connaught Place, Khan Market, etc. The attractive design and the visibility of ad-display boards make these public utilities compelling OOH options.
Supreme Advertising has gained significant recognition in design, construction, running and maintenance of public toilets. The company has already built and is running about 200 public toilets in the NDMC area of Delhi. The company had built and run public toilets in city of Chandigarh and even in the MCD area of Delhi but those have been handed back to the departments after the expiry of the BOT period. Those toilets were built on BOT basis in lieu of advertisement rights.
