Karnataka OOH leaders to address critical issues at industry meet tomorrow

The business leaders will converge at the Karnataka Talks OOH Conference in Bengaluru on February 9 to address the common industry issues and identify new growth avenues; the Conference will be conducted at Royal Orchid hotel on HAL Airport Road

OOH business leaders from Bengaluru and Rest of Karnataka will converge at the Karnataka Talks OOH Conference in Bengaluru on February 9 to address the common industry issues and identify new growth avenues. The Conference, to be conducted at Royal Orchid hotel on HAL Airport Road, will feature, among a host of different sessions, two media-ownership focused panel discussions.

 A panel discussion on the theme of ‘What will it take for Bengaluru OOH to speak in one voice?’ will touch upon key issues, such as:

  • Deepening the industry’s dialogue with civic authorities on matters related to unauthorised outdoor media and adoption of eco-friendly media solutions
  • Industry-wide adoption of IOAA’s S-O-P (standard operating procedures)
  • Strengthening of the local industry association

The session will be moderated by Indrajit Sen of IOAA, and the panelists are Pradeep Kumar Kokkanti R, CMD, Vijaya OOH Media, S M Jawad, Director, Ad Lnks, and Vishwanath R Naik, Director, Pinnacle.

In keeping with the changing dynamics of OOH media ownership in the state, the conference will have a panel discussion on the theme of whether consolidation of business will be the real growth catalyst for Karnataka OOH market.

The panelists of this session -- Pawan Bansal, COO, Jagran Engage, P B Abdul Rahman, MD, Diamond, Lekshuman Annamalai, Partner, Coral Media, Arjun P G, Business Head, Media 360 Degree, and Dharanikota Rajesh Kumar, Director, Srishti Outreach – will be discussing the:

  • The merits of consolidation of OOH business in Bengaluru and Rest of Karnataka
  • Scope of investments in the event of business consolidation
  • Impact on industry self-regulation
  • Scope of higher investments in digital OOH formats.
