Pune Rly div invites tender for exclusive advertising rights

Pune Division under the Central Railway of the Indian Railways has invited e-tender for platforms and stations of the Shivajinagar-Malavali cluster. The rights will be awarded for a period of 5 years in the following stations and platforms: Shivajinagar, Khadki, Dapodi, Kasarwadi, Pimpri chinchwad, Akurdi, Dehu Road, Begdewadi, Ghorawadi, Talegaon, Vadgaon Kanhe, Kamshet and Malavali. The rights are for the display of advertisement through various media that do not include hoardings.

This type of normal open tender is based upon a single packet system whose advertised value is Rs.37,20,696 and the earnest money is Rs 3,95,200. Only a single rate for tender is available which is open to bidders in joint venture firms also. The ranking order for this type of bid is in the descending order- from the highest to lowest. The escalation clause is at the rate of 10% per annum after 3 years. The bidder has to quote his bid on 1st year estimated earnings. Based on this bid contract, the value will be evaluated considering escalation clauses of 10% in annual license fee for 4th and 5th year. The bidder should have an annual turnover of 50% of the first-year reserve price and the participants for this tender should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial advertising, which may be outside the purview of railways.
