Greater Chennai Corporation calls for RFP for 6 bqs

Greater Chennai Corporation has invited requests for proposal (RFP) for selection of concessionaire for construction/renovation and maintenance of six modern continuous bus shelters in Zones IX and XIII for a period of five years.

The locations are:

• Saidapet (New Bus Stop), Zone XIII
• Saidapet (Old Bus Stop), Zone XIII
• Velachery Bus Stop (Vijaya Nagar), Zone XIII
• Guindy Race Course road Bus Stop, Zone XIII
• 100 Feet road (Ekkattuthangal), Zone XIII
• Kamaraj Salai (Anna Square), Zone IX.

The civic body has arranged a pre-bid meeting today at 3PM at the office of Superintending Engineer, Bus Route Roads (BRR) Department, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC).

The bid document will be available at https://tntenders.gov.in until 3PM on June 6, 2022, and the bid opening is scheduled at 3:30PM on June 7, 2022.

The bidder must have a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs 396 lakh for sum of any two years during the preceding last five years (2021-22,2020-21, 2019-20, 2018-19, 2017-18). Also, the bidder must have average liquid assets/quick assets for a minimum of Rs 80 lakh for any two years during the preceding three years (2021-22,2020-21, 2019-20).

EMD amount for the bid is Rs 10 lakh, to be submitted online, and the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) of Rs 100 lakh is to be furnished to the corporation within 15 working days from the date of issue of letter of acceptance (LoA).
