DOAA in strife as key Board members resign
A way forward for the association not in sight yet
Once a vibrant regional outdoor advertising body, Delhi Outdoor Advertisers Association (DOAA) is faced a daunting situation after key Board members put in their resignation from their respective roles. As per information obtained by Media4Growth, all office bearers with the exception of Ajay Gupta and Anil Sharma have resigned from their respective posts. Sunil Vasudeva who was the President of the association confirmed that he has relinquished his position citing personal reasons. Other Board members who have left their respective roles were not available for their comments.
Responding to a query on the current situation, Ajay Gupta, Secretary, DOAA, said there is no provision for any Board member to resign from the association and so anybody who is not wanting to continue his role can nominate another person for the specific position in the association.
The picture is still unclear and does not augur well for the OOH industry in the region.
