Rahul Tandon, Business Head (Industrial & Commercial), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) will be participating in a panel discussion on the theme ‘Is DOOH ticking all the boxes for brands?’ at the upcomingOOH Advertising Convention (OAC) in Bengaluru on July 26-27, 2024.
Rahul will be sharing his perspectives on the different dimension of DOOH advertising, such as, the factors contributing to a high brand uplift, achieving greater business conversions, the shift from displays to impressions, about buying time than space, etc.
Rahul in his role as Business Head (Industrial & Commercial) with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) oversees the key industrial and commercial business unit, driving business growth, and ensuring strategic alignment with corporate goals. His leadership in this position has been pivotal in maintaining BPCL’s competitive edge in the market.
Earlier, as Marketing Head (Retail), Rahul has led the retail business unit, focusing on market network expansion, and enhancing the retail brand presence. His innovative approaches have significantly contributed to increasing the market share and customer loyalty.
As the Marketing Head for the gas division of BPCL, Rahul was responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies in the gas business segment by positioning BPCL competitively in the market. At BPCL, he has also held positions, such as, Head of Digital, Head of Corporate Strategy, State Head (Retail, Karnataka and Kerala), Executive Assistant to Chairman, Global Product Manager, and LPG Manager (Sales and Operation).
Rahul’s diverse experience and leadership across various strategic roles highlight his versatility, strategic acumen and commitment to driving business excellence at BPCL. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Malviya National Institute of Technology (1992-1996). Furthering his education, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (2013-2015), specialising in the Executive Management Programme.
