In association with CRY, SVF has organised a book reading session for the first time as an outdoor activation ahead of the much-awaited movie release. A Graphic Novel of the movie was launched, aimed at reaching out to audience across India
Mahendra Soni, Co-Founder & Director – SVF, said, “Since we have taken the protagonist out of the first film in the franchise, ChanderPahar, we wanted to implement it well. Thus we came up with the idea of a graphic novel of Amazon Obhijaan with the entire storyboarding of the film. The novel is released digitally and across all major bookstores for our audience to get a hang of what they can expect in the film. The launch of the Graphic Novel is an important step in that direction and we are confident that everyone will love this comic book version of the movie, which they will relive on the big screen on 22nd December.”
Engaging some 100 children from CRY (Child Rights and You), who got not only the opportunity to meet their beloved hero, Dev but also received a copy of this novel signed by him and the film Director, Kamaleswar Mukherjee.
AtindraNath Das, Director (Eastern Region), CRY – Child Rights and You said, “We are delighted to be part of this amazing initiative by SVF. As an organisation, CRY has always believed in giving underprivileged children a platform to dream, and dream big. What we love the most as an organization working with children, is the fact that SVF has actually used their platform to reach out to so many people and help us create a happy childhood for the children we work with. Ahead of Children’s Day, there could not have been a better gift for the children.”
