Sharing details of the initiative on LinkedIn, Shwetal Basu, Sr. Vice President – Brand and Marketing at Polycab India, highlighted how festivals are not just occasions of tradition but also opportunities to strengthen bonds within the community.
As the city of Mumbai came alive with the grandeur of Ganesh Chaturthi, Polycab India Limited extended its presence beyond products – into the heart of the celebrations. In a unique initiative blending safety, comfort, and community care, the brand created multiple experiential touchpoints across two of the city’s most iconic locations: Lalbaugcha Raja and Juhu Beach.
The activations included a bus stop converted into a Cool Zone for devotees waiting en route to the pandal, a dedicated booth for on-duty police personnel, mobile charging stations for devotees, police and volunteers, and an experiential Cool Walkway designed to offer respite from the festive rush. At Juhu Beach during Visarjan, watch towers were installed to support safety efforts, while multiple branding touchpoints were placed in and around the pandal to reinforce Polycab’s messaging of safe and strong connections.
