Hershey’s transforms Mumbai Airport boarding gate into immersive brand experience

Hershey’s has elevated its airport advertising presence by transforming a boarding gate at Mumbai International Airport into an immersive brand experience, showcasing how airport media is evolving beyond traditional advertising formats.
Located at Gate 78 in the International Departures terminal, the activation is being positioned as India’s first branded boarding gate. The installation creates a dedicated Hershey’s environment through integrated branding elements, including a fully branded gate arch, SAV carpet branding, and complementary experiential touchpoints designed to engage travellers throughout the boarding process.
Strategically positioned at a key passenger touchpoint serving a significant share of Emirates-bound international travellers, the campaign allows Hershey’s to connect with a premium global audience during one of the highest dwell-time moments of the airport journey. Rather than relying on a single advertising format, the activation surrounds passengers with a cohesive brand presence as they wait to board.
Executed by AAHL Advertising, the activation demonstrates how premium airport infrastructure, audience-led planning and innovative media formats can come together to create impactful brand experiences.
