The channel joined hands with Hyderabad-based NGO Abhaya to spread awareness on prevention of breast cancer on the occasion of the International Women’s Day
“Aarambham Okka Aduguthone”, meaning “The Beginning Is With One Step”, is what the Zee Telugu Kutumba believes in. As an ode to this, the channel joined hands with Hyderabad-based NGO Abhaya to spread awareness on prevention of breast cancer on the occasion of the International Women’s Day (IWD). As part of the programme, the NGO came out with a message and organised a walkation in the city encouraging women across Hyderabad to be aware of breast cancer and its symptoms.
Actress Naveen Yata from Zee Telugu’s ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, led the group during the walk, inspiring women in the city to take that one small step towards breast cancer awareness. “I am honoured to be supporting such an important cause for Zee Telugu and I believe this this is one small step that all of us can take,”Actress Naveena Yata said.
Zee Telugu has always encouraged women across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to take that one small step. With yoga workshops and self-defence classes organized in rural towns, the channel believes that it is important to imspire women to #PressForProgress.
