RoshanSpace creates dramatic message for Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar
A gigantic sword of 120 ft with red blood blotches spreads across three billboards to dramatically portray the storyline of the show
RoshanSpace conceptualized an interesting OOH innovation for Zee TV’s show Jodha Akbar, that graphically summarizing the storyline of the show. Created and executed by RoshanSpace, the innovation was done on Roshan’s trademark set of three- 40 x 20 (totally 120 x 20) site at Mahim Causeway. A colossal sword of 120 ft with red blood blotches spread across the billboard that changes contours from random splatter to rose petals eventually ending as a red rose. According the RoshanSpace, the concept signifies the transformation that takes place in the protagonist – Akbar from an ambitious warlord with little regard for humanitarian values to an enlightened soul through the love of Jodha.
The objective of the OOH innovation was to visually illustrate the transformation of the power of love in the historical serial’Jodha Akbar’ which would be aired starting June 18, 2013 on Zee TV. The company was posed with many challenges including the above average Mumbai monsoon and high velocity winds this year, with the site being just about 20 meters from the seashore. The bad weather obstructed them in putting up the display as well as maintaining the props in place.
According to RoshanSpace, the implementation of the innovation was successful in accomplishing its core agenda to create a curiosity factor and brand recall.
