Google has launched its smartphone Pixel 2 worldwide to compete with android and iPhone phones, and to drive home the point, the brand has taken up OOH advertising in India. The Pixel 2 OOH campaign is a big marketing push from the brand to wrest a significant share of the smartphone market. This long term campaign has clearly been designed to entice consumers with Pixel 2’s compelling features.
Google strategically took up single billboards to describe each of the features the phones offers by asking a question and then giving the solution. The brand took sites on arterial roads, at junctions and in market areas to drive the campaign. In India, Google’s OOH mandate is handled by Kinetic India.
