Apollo Tyres, which has put up iconic installations outside the Delhi and Mumbai airports, is venturing into other cities with a same strategy. The brand has put up an iconic installation at the Chennai airport where the media rights are held by TDI International.

Large installations are seen to stand out of the clutter. Pramesh Arya, Group Head – Marketing, APMEA Region at Apollo Tyres Ltd, said, “We are in the space of mobility and airports offer premium locations that aid in building brand visibility and fits into our criteria of an iconic site. Tyre innovations at OOH touch points linked to mobility like airports work well for us.
Such iconic sites are chosen to attract maximum attention and are great touch points that connect us to our target audience”.

The brand is planning to take this approach further by acquiring airport touch points in other cities too.
