The Social Street has entered into a partnership with UK-based Works in a move to foster creativity in sports in India. Works is a creative, design and brand agency that has been delivering practical solutions for clients and partners across the globe in the sports and entertainment industries. With existing overseas bases in Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai and Beijing, Works will expand its global reach with this brand-new foray into the Indian market.

Works has been creating award winning design work for the last 29 years for international companies, major sports organisations and global events. They have worked on a variety of high profile projects with sports federations and organisations to create some of the most innovative and award-winning work for over 100 major sports competitions around the world.

Works was recently commissioned by FIFA to roll out the official look for this year’s mega global event, FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. Prior to this, they also worked on FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010, FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019 and 8 UEFA Champions League Finals to name just a few from their vast repertoire.

Roy Webber, Founder & CEO, Works says, “This is a wonderful opportunity for Works. India and South Asia have such an appetite and love for sport and entertainment – to be a part of the energy created by this growing and vibrant market is an exciting prospect for us. It’s so important to engage with a like-minded and trusted partner when we enter a new territory. Mandeep is building something quite special with The Social Street and to collaborate with them at this point marks the beginning of a great new chapter for Works.”

The Social Street, through this partnership, seeks to further bolster its burgeoning sports marketing offering. Having worked with prestigious sporting tournaments in the country like International Premier Tennis League (ITPL), Premier Futsal League including individual teams, Pro Kabbadi League, Indian Premier League (IPL), Bengaluru Tigers at the Super Fight League (wrestling), Tamil Nadu Premier League (cricket) as well as major sporting events for Star Sports and Hotstar, this comes as a strategic move for The Social Street to increase its focus on accelerating growth in the world of sports and entertainment.

Aimed at inspiring innovation in sports, The Social Street and Works will collaboratively approach assignments and campaigns to capitalise on opportunities in India as well South Asia.

Commenting on the new association, Mandeep Malhotra, Founding Partner & CEO, The Social Street added, “With Works we have gained a partner who will provide us with tremendous support to build a strong sports marketing arsenal. Their bespoke body of work – be it design, branding or production across mediums – speaks volumes. We’re extremely delighted to join forces with Works as our go-to partner for everything that is sports. We look forward to working with them on a series of joint initiatives in India and across South Asia.”
