As the OOH industry in Gujarat gears up to ride the next growth wave, the stage is set for the industry players to usher in new and innovative practices that will help the business bring in more advertising brands. In the midst of this build-up, it is imperative for the industry to adopt standard practices, observe higher standards of self-regulation and align with the norms set by the Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA).

In keeping with this goal, Noomi Mehta, President, IOAA would be addressing the 1st Gujarat Talks OOH Conference that will be held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ahmedabad on December 16. Noomi will steer a panel discussion on the theme “How the IOAA can help Gujarat OOH industry organise itself better to usher in sustainable, accelerated business growth.” The panel will also comprise leading media owners of Gujarat.

Technology will play a catalytic role in OOH business growth. That is, technology will not only change the face of OOH media in the coming times, but also strengthen the systems and processes that underpin the business. Media monitoring is one area where technology can play a key part. Indrajit Sen, CEO, AdWise will talk about this dimension of OOH business in his address on the theme “How can technology help OOH to do business better”.

The day-long conference will feature presentations and panel discussions on a variety of subjects that tie in with the growth goals of Gujarat’s OOH industry. The day will culminate with an open forum where the participants will brainstorm to come up with an agenda for growth.
