Ketan Bharati, VP – Global Marketing Operations, Truecaller joins OAA Jury for 2023

Ketan Bharati, VP – Global Marketing Operations, Truecaller has joined the distinguished Jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards 2023 contest. Ketan was on the Jury for the OAA 2022 contest too.

Ketan brings with him deep experience in media strategy, broadcasting, and product & revenue strategy across FMCG, telecom, entertainment and broadcasting with stints at India’s leading brands such as Vodafone, Star India, and Reckitt & Benckiser. 

At Reckitt, his role as Regional Manager India - Media Global Category, included developing, prioritising and leading media for key marketing initiatives across categories (Health, Home and Hygiene), while at Star India, as Senior Manager for Product & Revenue Strategy, he was responsible for product and revenue lead for Fox International Channels – National Geographic and Fox Life and new revenue opportunities and strategic inputs for the channel & the sales team.

Sharing his perspective on the OAA contest, he told Media4Growth: “It is an important barometer for measuring the impact of OOH in the media mix and business KPIs. Also, it showcases how the medium is strategically used in various categories and showcases ways of measuring the impact which has been lagging basis general perception.”

When asked about his expectations from this year’s contest, he said that he would like to see “more entries across categories, challenging the status quo, and more of DOOH and how that is integrated within the mainstream media.”

On being a part of the OAA Jury, he said, “It has been an enriching experience. The selection process, the way it was conducted, the Jury and audience, plus the presentation and participation has been phenomenal in terms of information and wisdom.”
