Pioneer Publicity wins media rights at Dehradun Airport
Pioneer Publicity has won the rights on media placed both outside and inside the airport, adding up to about 6,000 sq. ft of advertising space. The contract is for a period of 10 years.
Leading OOH firm Pioneer Publicity has forayed into the airport media segment by bagging the advertising rights at the Dehradun airport. The media owning firm has won the rights on media placed both outside and inside the airport, covering some 6,000 sq. ft of advertising space. The contract is for a period of 10 years. Dinesh Vasudeva, Director, Pioneer Publicity, said: “We have a strong foothold in the traditional media space pan-India. In order to expand our reach and offerings, we wanted to enter the airport media space as well and this airport tender came up right on time. It is a crucial transit point in Uttrakhand as is the only airport that cater to people travelling to Mussoorie, Haridwar, Rishikesh and various pilgrim locations in the area.”
While the media sites are already in place at the airport, Pioneer Publicity plans to renovate and upgrade the media units. This is the only airport that connects the Garhwal region via daily commercial flights. Currently the airport operates 18 flights and the number is likely to increase by 2019-2020 as the Airport Authority of India (AAI) is planning to expand the airport and construct an additional runway there.
