Outreach wins BQS & park beautification rights from GMC
As part of the tender, Outreach Advertising will develop12 BQS and a one part of the land measuring over 30,000 sq. ft of a prime location in Guwahati city.
Outreach Advertising recently won the tenders for developing 12 BQS and a one part of the land measuring over 30,000 sq. ft in a prime location of Guwahati city in lieu of advertising rights for 5 years. A vacant land in the heart of the city was gradually becoming a dump-yard before the Guwahati Municipal Corporation decided to take that up as beautification project.
The land is a no-construction site as there are OIL pipelines that are laid under the land. As part of the beautification drive, the GMC called for a tender to develop a park over the said land on PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model.
Outreach will have to maintain the same as well as the part of the contract. The project has just commenced and the park would be ready in 3-4 months. They will also create unipoles and backlit signages at the park. The bus shelters will also be developed on PPP basis with the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC). This is for the first time that Guwahati is getting steel fabricated modern bus queue shelters. The approved design has been suggested by Outreach to the authority. This contract is also for 5 years with further prospects of renewal.
