Punjab Govt directs ULBs to step up outdoor media tendering process
The state government is looking at aggressively achieving the ad revenue targets set for the financial year by creating more avenues for advertising & branding options
Punjab Government’s Local Bodies Ministry has instructed all Urban Local Bodies (ULB) in the city to expedite the tendering of outdoor advertising properties. Also, the authority has told officials to strictly adhere to the new advertising guidelines that were released in March.
The biggest issue raised by the media owners of the state i.e. increase in license fee will not be reduced. Rather, the ministry is looking at aggressively achieving the ad revenue targets set for the financial year by creating more avenues for advertising & branding options such as, LED, signages on local shops, public utilities and upcoming projects like metro
