Karnataka HC sets fresh deadline for BBMP to submit draft outdoor ad policy

Next hearing on the policy scheduled to be held on March 8

Karnataka HC The High Court of Karnataka has set a new deadline for Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to submit the draft Outdoor Signage and Public Messaging Bye-law 2018. The next hearing on this is scheduled to be held on March 8, 2019.

Earlier, the court was informed that the BBMP had on February 19 sent the clarification sought by the state government on the proposed by-laws but the discussion on it could not take place in the review meeting of the State government as the BBMP commissioner was pre-occupied with meetings on the civic budget.
