ChargeEuropa expands its footprint in Poland, partners hypermarket store chain Selgros
Transgourmet Polska, owner of Selgros, has chosen ChargeEuropa to deploy EV/DOOH charging throughout the entire retail chain across Poland.
ChargeEuropa, a Poland-based CPO focused on urban EV charging has entered into a partnership with Transgourmet Polska to install and operate EV charging stations at the parking lot of every Selgros store across the country. Transgourmet Polska currently has 19 Selgros hypermarket stores serving over 2.2 million registered customers.
“We are thrilled and proud to partner with one of the largest and established cash & carry chains in Europe” says Matt Tymowski, CEO of ChargeEuropa in a release posted on the company’s website. “Transgourmet’s commitment to providing a convenient and positive shopping experience is something we are very closely aligned with when it comes to EV charging”.
ChargeEuropa maintains that it is gaining strong momentum with retail chains in Poland. The stations have proven to drive traffic to stores that host them as well as increase customer dwell-time.
“We decided to partner with ChargeEuropa for our EV charging infrastructure because the advertising business model provided us with certainty that they can grow with us, even in the early-stages of EV adoption in Poland” says Bartosz Jankowiak, Technical Director of Transgourmet Polska.
