The Municipal Corporation Gurugram has opened up a significant opportunity for the OOH industry with the launch of its e-auction for outdoor media sites across the city, offering premium inventory through a structured six-cluster model.

Announced under the banner “Opportunity Knocks: Gurugram’s E-Auction for Outdoor Media Sites,” the initiative invites media owners and operators to bid for advertising rights spanning unipoles, LED displays, and premium locations across Gurugram.

The inventory has been divided into six clusters, each offering a mix of static and digital formats across key city zones. Across these clusters, the offering includes over 250+ unipoles and 150+ LED displays, amounting to more than 400 outdoor media sites in total, making it one of the more substantial municipal-led OOH opportunities in the region.

Each cluster is available under a three-year contract model, positioning this as a long-term investment opportunity for OOH players looking to expand or consolidate their presence in the NCR market.

Participation in the auction requires mandatory registration on the ULB Advertisement Portal (ulb.project247.in), with the process designed to be fully digital and transparent.

In terms of eligibility, bidders must demonstrate financial capability, with average annual turnover over the past three years required to be at least 30% of the respective cluster value, ensuring that participating entities have the operational strength to manage large-scale outdoor media assets.

The offering reflects the evolving nature of the OOH ecosystem, combining traditional unipoles with digital LED inventory, allowing advertisers to leverage both scale and dynamic content delivery within the same framework.

With Gurugram continuing to grow as a major commercial and residential hub, this e-auction presents a timely opportunity for the industry to tap into a rapidly expanding urban audience. Through this initiative, MCG aims to streamline the allocation of outdoor media assets while enabling stakeholders to participate in the city’s broader growth story and demand for premium visibility.
