LG unveils advanced LED screens installed at Cairo stadium

LG Electronics (LG) recently installed its LBH High Brightness LED screens at the newly renovated Cairo International Stadium in the capital’s district of Nasr City. Conducting a tour at the site, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi viewed the latest technologies being implemented at the stadium ahead of its opening for the 2019 African Nations Cup.

The LBH High Brightness series is specifically recommended for fixed outdoor installations requiring high brightness and contrast. The units installed at Cairo International Stadium feature a maximum brightness of 8,000 nits for increased visibility for fans, whether keeping up-to-date with the scores or watching action replays. A high refresh rate of 3,840Hz assures flicker-free image capturing and smooth playback of content when fans record and share their favorite moments of a game.

With reliable weatherproof design, the front and rear cases of LG’s LBH screens are IP65-certified.
