IIT & FIIT JEE co-branding battle comes to an end
The station branding has been taken by Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS)
The fierce war that was going on between IIT Delhi and FIIT JEE coaching centre over the co-branding deal on the DMRC IIT Metro Station has finally ended with FIIT JEE choosing to walk out of the deal. The station branding has now been taken by the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS). The station media rights have been handled by Pioneer Publicity for 10 years.
The controversy had erupted after IIT-Delhi raised its objections to the renaming of the station wherein both the names were included, as it felt that it was misleading and indicated collaboration between the two institutes.
